Loxley Silver Band is currently on the look out for cornet players, including a soprano cornet, as well as a trombone player and a drummer. However, we always welcome any brass band instrument players to come along and join us. Those who have just started to learn, or wanting to re-start’, may like to consider joining our Training Band.

Loxley Silver Band enjoys a very committed complement of players, some having played for the band for many, many years and we recognise that we are very lucky to have such a strong historical context compared to many bands! However, we’d love to fill up those spare spaces and to continue to improve the band’s sound.

We generally have a flexible approach to membership, with several players in the band happy to move seats if the right players wish to join.

If you can fill any of these vacancies and would like to join a very friendly, sociable, entertaining band then please get in touch.
